I’m going to Toronto on Wednesday to do shows at the Niagara & Vaughan Yuk Yuks and several open mikes in Toronto. I am excited, nervous, fluttery, daunted, determined and giddy. I hope I’m funny East of home. I have had the pleasure of meeting so many amazing people (mostly comedians) from Toronto over the past few years that I feel as if I’m landing in a pile of hugs. Yet I also feel I have to prove myself because sometimes “the West” seems so far removed from the hive of comedy activity in TO. Is that weird?
