On Thursday and Saturday, I was tickled to be the MC at Calgary Yuk Yuk for headliner, Iliza Shlesinger. She won a little show called Last Comic Standing in 2008. First woman to win. Youngest winner ever. I had the good luck to meet her earlier this year at Yuk Yuks and I so enjoyed her. Getting to work with her this weekend was a hoot. I felt slightly star struck at first, but she is so real and genuine that it can’t last. She is smart, funny and genuine and brings cupcakes and cookies to the staff. If you haven’t seen her perform, please do. It’s a treat.
